Neeley made our first time buying a home a very smooth experience! She was very responsive and knowledgeable. Everything was almost too easy--that's how great it was to work with her. Austin is the simply the best!!! After our initial client meeting to discuss wants/needs/price range, we were under contract within ~2 weeks! This is even more impressive when factoring in that we had a pretty unconventional, first time home buying scenario - My husband and I were currently primarily residing in south Alabama (~4.5 hours away) for the summer, but were purchasing our FIRST home in Atlanta. Austin made use of limited days that I had in Atlanta to show us potential homes (my husband often having to join via FaceTime) and didn't waste any time showing us things that didn't fit our goals. He also still made sure to remind us "not to settle" or jump on the first property that checked the boxes even though we had a unique scenario and limited time. As a result, we found the perfect first home! We closed on a home that never hit the open market, which speaks volumes for his networking skills (sellers were contacting him about their properties just from him putting out feelers in the neighborhood we were most interested in)! We had heard plenty of stories from friends that first home buying was overwhelming or stressful with the agents they had used, but we are thrilled to say that things were seamless with Austin! He made sure we were comfortable with every decision, walked us "newbies" through the mounds of paperwork, and answered all the questions we had even if it meant late night texts or phone calls. For example, the HVAC was working when we went under contract but was inoperable at inspection - Austin was quick to not only alert the seller but also went back to the property himself to be sure it was working after she said it was fixed in order to give us peace of mind about moving forward since we were out of town. Austin is honest, professional, and most importantly knows his stuff! We appreciated how easy going he was and his great sense of humor as well! I could go on and on but to summarize this short novel, we are a couple of happy first-time home owners that would recommend Austin Landers 1000x over!
