Teeny is a long-time Atlanta resident, having moved here in 1983 after attending the University of Alabama. She is married to Atlanta native Howard Carson, and has two children, Kate and Angus, who currently attend Westminster. Before joining Dorsey Alston, Teeny spent fifteen years selling fixed income products, focusing on mortgage-backed securities, to institutional investors in the Southeast. She spent another 5 years creating and running her own company, recruiting Private Wealth Management professionals for both local and national investment companies. Teeny brings her extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry to assist her customers with both traditional and non-traditional lending needs, most especially jumbo mortgages.
