Wes brings a lifelong passion for history, design, and placemaking to his real estate practice. A native of coastal Georgia, he developed an early love for gardening and historic preservation, which led him to earn a degree in horticulture from the University of Georgia. For over a decade, he managed large-scale landscape restoration projects at some of Atlanta’s most cherished landmarks, including the Atlanta History Center, the Swan House, and Historic Oakland Cemetery. In 2018, he proudly received the Historic Preservation Leadership Certificate from the Georgia Trust.

 

Wes’s natural transition into real estate was driven by his love for restoring and renovating homes, as well as his deep-rooted knowledge of Georgia’s diverse communities. From in-town Atlanta to charming rural towns, his personal and professional experiences give him a unique understanding of both urban and small-town markets. His years of volunteer service as a county planning commissioner have further equipped him with valuable insight into zoning and development across the state.

Wes and his partner, Robert, split their time between Buckhead, where they enjoy all the city has to offer, and their historic farm in Morgan County, where they live with their shi tzu, Hamilton. He has restored two historic homes on the property and currently serves on the Madison-Morgan Conservancy Advisory Board, continuing his commitment to preserving Georgia’s architectural and agricultural heritage.
