Dorsey Alston ranks 11th in Atlanta’s 2009 best places to work.
ATLANTA – Dorsey Alston, Realtors®, was recognized as one of Atlanta’s 2009 Best Places to Work. More than 500 companies and organizations were nominated in 2009, up nearly 50 percent from the number of nominees in 2008.
Working in partnership with Quantum Workplace, which runs the surveys distributed to nominees, The Atlanta Business Chronicle highlighted 60 companies in three categories: the top 10 in the large category (501 employees+), the top 25 in the medium category (101-500 employees) and the top 25 in the small category (10-100 employees). Dorsey Alston ranked No. 11 on the list of small businesses.
Rankings were based on the results of Quantum’s data as collected from the employees of the nominees. Nominations were accepted in June on The Atlanta Business Chronicle’s website, with surveys going out to qualified nominees in July and August.

The top employers were honored on Sept. 25 at the Georgia Aquarium. The Atlanta Business Chronicle also printed a special section that ran last week in September, acknowledging this year’s winners.
