ATLANTA – This holiday season, Dorsey Alston, Realtors, joined forces for the second year with Families First of Atlanta to create a special Christmas for one local family. Agents and staff responded with more than $1,500 in donations to give a mother and her two young daughters a memorable holiday. Armed with a wish list, Dorsey Alston was able to fulfill the little girls’ dreams of baby dolls with strollers, learning games, art supplies and anything Hannah Montana- or Cheetah Girl-related. The generous donations provided by agents and staff allowed Dorsey Alston to purchase the family new linens, dishes, pots and pans, a TV and stereo, as well as plenty of clothing.
Wrapped and labeled presents that would have overflowed from Santa’s sleigh were dropped off at the Families First office in Midtown on Dec. 17 for delivery to the family prior to Christmas. Dorsey Alston is grateful for the generosity that allowed the office to create a special holiday for this deserving family. Dorsey Alston hopes to continue the rewarding tradition of adopting a family during the holidays in the years to come.
Families First is Georgia’s largest non-profit family service agency.
