Kristin Carpenter is a native Atlantan, born and raised in Inman Park and a graduate of Pace Academy. She has always loved this city. After chapters in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Boston, the running joke among her friends was that she was Atlanta’s top recruiter—constantly convincing others to make the move and experience everything the city has to offer.

 

Kristin took a winding path to real estate, beginning her career in corporate finance at Deloitte before joining Teach For America and later Purpose Built Schools Atlanta, where she worked to help transform under-resourced schools on the south side of Atlanta.

 

As the daughter of an architect, a real estate investor, and a self-proclaimed “DIY contractor,” Kristin brings a creative eye and a can-do mindset to every client relationship. She pairs that perspective with a highly practical approach—offering clients not just vision, but solutions. From HVAC and appliance repair to painting, flooring, and refinishing, Kristin has built a trusted network of go-to professionals she can call on at every stage of the homeownership journey.

 

Now based in Virginia-Highland, Kristin and her husband are raising four young children under four (plus one in heaven), and that season of life deeply shapes how she shows up for her clients. She understands firsthand how quickly needs can change—and how important it is to find a home that truly works for real life. Her empathy, responsiveness, and ability to anticipate what families need at different stages set her apart.

 

When she’s not working, Kristin is soaking up this season of life with her young children. You’ll often find the whole crew running, scootering, or biking along the Atlanta BeltLine, exploring playgrounds, or walking up the street to one of their neighborhood restaurants. She and her husband still carve out time for tennis, love having friends and family over for big gatherings at their house, and always prioritize making time to enjoy live music around town.
